A subsidiary incorporated in January 2001 to market the system to the Malaysian and ASEAN construction industry.

ICF Building System Sdn. Bhd., incorporated in January 2001, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Texchem Corporation Sdn. Bhd. It is dedicated to marketing the insulated concrete form building system to the Malaysian and ASEAN construction industry.

The system combines expanded polystyrene with steel reinforced concrete to offer a building structure that is load bearing, column free, quick and easy to construct and energy efficient. It is manufactured in Shah Alam, Malaysia with technology input from Formtech International.

The subsidiary completed a bungalow at a resort development at Saujana Subang. The project was completed in seven and a half months and offers a quiet, comfortable and energy efficient home.
