Eight component records make up the Formtech expanded polystyrene building system: three molded block forms, three panels, a two-piece plastic corner and the cavity web family that joins them. Every record below carries its part number, dimensions and size family.
System overview
Formtech manufactures and sells a complete EPS building system that includes multi-cavity reversible blocks and corner blocks, and a host of related insulated concrete form products and accessories. The high-performance building system has been used in residential and commercial applications throughout the world, and is proven to be one of the strongest ICF blocks in the industry.
Formtech ICFs are made from fire-retardant expanded polystyrene. The insulated concrete form is inert and is considered one of the best insulating materials available. It provides for a complete wall system below and above grade. With concrete, the ICF block has a minimum R-22 value, with behavioural properties of R-35 and upwards.

Cavity width family
One secret of the system's versatility is the variable block cavity. The panel and web construction allows for cavity widths of 2.5, 4, 6, 8 and 10 inches, with a special WEBEX web extender to achieve widths of 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 inches. Custom widths are also available.
